In October, 2006, Global Health Force teamed with Corazon de Vida and pediatric dentist, Dr. Clara Lee to provide medical and dental care to orphanages in Mexico. Dr. Irene Kan shares her experience with this mission.

A mouthful of cavities? Children with parasitic diseases? Malnourished children? I did not know what to expect before we began our journey down into Ensenada, Mexico to the Door of Faith orphanage for our Dental/Medical Mission trip October 7-8, 2006. I anticipated treating children for acute medical needs?.things like skin infections, warts, asthma, ear infections and malnourishment.
